Hello Chuck, I was looking up your site because I am searching for further "Spornhauers" from Emmerichenhain/ Nassau in the United States ( 18.th Century) . Would be nice to get in touch with them or with other emigrants-families from the region. Sincerly J.ST.

A very good site Chuck, glad I found you. Also looking without any luck whatosever for any information on my great grandfather, William Henry Shultz, b 1843, d April 1, 1914 in Adams County, Pennsylvania. I know he came over from Germany with his brother Jacob approx. in 1860. Unfortunately I have tried many, many different avenues and have not found any additional information such as what part of Germany he came from. He was married twiced, first wife Jane Baker, second wife and my great grandmother Sarah Emily. It is very nice to see what the name Shultz means. Thank you for your interesting and informational site. Donna (Shultz) Burgoyne
