In archives I've found that many KOYs were born in the Opeln region (Opole in Polish). Some KOYs altered spelling to KOJ; see the chancellor of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow (Krakow).  Regards Kris

Didn't realize there were so many Shultz's. Mine lived in the McCordsville area, Hancock, County, Indiana (east of Indpls.) Jacob Schultz was born 1808 in Wurttenberg, Germany. Children Henry, John, Elizabeth and Mary Ann (my 2 great GM). She married George H. Cramer. Anyone have information? George and Mary Ann died when their children were quite young. Jacob Peter (my great grandfather) was raised by the Shultz family. Thanks much, Martha Ann

I'm very interested in your Wisthoff connections. Mine come from Baltimore. The problem is that my third great grandfather, Frederick Wisthoff, left his wife Fredericka(Schuhkraft) and young son John Louis in Baltimore and went West after 1860. There he started another family(or so my great grandfather told us). I'm wondering if the Wisthoffs you have researched are my half cousins and what happened to Frederick. We don't know why he left. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and I really enjoyed your sight.

Well I read your guestbook and didn't see any comments from the Lukowski clan. I saw my last name in your chart but I'm not sure if they're relations of mine or not?? But lets face it, Lukowski isn't a very common last name. Anyway my Grandfather was Joseph A. Lukowski and I know he had a brother named Frank and a sister named Claire. He had two other siblings but I don't know their names. Looking for any info on the Lukowski's. I was born in Buffalo, NY as were my parents and grandparents. Anxious to hear from you!!!!!
